We want to engage and address executives and decision makers from corporations, governmental organizations and NGOs, people from R&D, innovation, business development departments and scientific researchers who want to share their thoughts about the future of design thinking with others and who wants to know more about the handling of uncertainty and complexity.

We want to explore how 21st century organizations in any field will create new ways of meeting the challenges of the future: understanding customer needs and desires of tomorrow and creating new ways of innovating and doing business that supports change.

Some of the potential questions that will be discussed are:

  • How do organization address and implement principles of open innovation processes?
  • How can design thinking help to deal better with uncertainty and complexity?
  • How do we apply design thinking in organizations?
  • Which best practice examples can be found in organizations?
  • We call it design thinking – how do you call your user-centered approach?
  • How can the adoption of new design thinking practices can lead to sustainable competitive advantages?
  • How can a culture of failure provide development in organizations?
