Alexander Renneberg

Alex did his undergraduate degree in Software Systems Engineering at the Hasso Plattner Institute and studied at the University of Jyvaskyla in Finland.
During his life Alexander has held a dozen jobs from marketing assistent to software consultant, but has done his best work as a business analyst at D-LABS, and safety engineer at Texas Instruments, where he worked with his engineering insights to help the semiconductor giant to innovate their quality management process.
After enduring several software projects in the past, Alexander came to the conclusion that insufficient user requirements are causing the most significant headaches to everyone involved. With this in mind, Alexander had a burning desire to pursue a more creative approach to improve the way software is designed and joined the Design Services Team by SAP as a contractor. There, he got in contact with the d.school at Stanford University and joined us in Potsdam upon his return.
In his time outside the D-School world, Alex loves to travel all over the world, especially East of the European Union.
