Timm Krohn

Timm has spent time in Africa, Canada and at a boarding school in England, but is originally from Hamburg. He majored in law and studied in Hamburg, Berkeley, Lausanne, Bonn and Berlin. Timm did his PhD in company law with Prof. Dr. Karsten Schmidt. He was a research fellow at the chair for business law at Bonn University, a coach and lecturer and a Legal Advisor with a major auditing organization. Timm also worked in banking and as a lawyer.
He is now the COO and proxy of Hasso Plattner Institute and the CEO of HPI Academy.
Timm likes reading (all kinds of books and several at a time) and is a dedicated supporter of Hamburg’s soccer team, HSV. He loves his wife and their three children.
