Mission Statement
Our goals are to provide good teaching for our students, a stimulating and ambitious research environment for our Ph.D. students, and to achieve significant scientific findings in the various areas of our interest worth to be published in internationally leading journals and conferences and enabling to design innovative tools and IT-systems improving daily live.

Information about our Research Work
The research of the team of Prof. Dr. Christoph Meinel focuses on investigation of scientific principles, methodes and technologies to design and implement novel Internet technologies and innovative Internet-based IT-systems [more reading]. Particularly we are interested in the following areas and applications:

- Former Research Interests of Prof. Dr. Christoph Meinel and his team were focused on theoretical foundations of Computer Science, in particular on

- investigations in computational complexity

Hasso-Plattner-Institute at University of Potsdam offers a Bachelor, Master, and PhD program on IT-systems engineering. We are contributing in mathematics, basic and advanced IT security and Internet and Web-Technologies. Here are the details.
