Abstract: Mapping diversity answers biogeographic questions and forms the basis for conservation measures. Working on a regional scale (West Africa), using one of the most threatened vertebrate groups (amphibians) and modelling their distributions on a fine resolution (1km²) we identify areas of high diversity (alpha) and areas of diversity changes (beta).
